^ disgruntled rx 8 driver who was slow to point by at pir last year complained about the "Porsche train" which was three of us trying to pass him down the back straight... several times in the same session

He was this whiny crybaby who was obviously away from his mommy for way too long at a Kitch day last summer. The track is fairly wide heading into the back straight so IMHO, no big deal at all. Yet this little momma's boy who seemed to do his best at not looking at his mirrors all day, felt the need to whine about an early pass.

The other group had a baby like the RX-8 guy too. Some Miata guy who also didn't like to use his mirrors. I don't get that.

I always try to refrain from guys who think they own the track as if they are the pacecar but sometimes ... and I don't condone it but every turn they make I make sure the nose of my car is aiming at the driver door. That was back then now I just divebomb them- jk. Mike ps- PJ- woulda been hard for me to let go of such a well set up car and nice pic.

pj-- what is the verdict? I can not see you passing up the the nice weather. Feb 20th in Portland and a couple days in March. I think the 20th is Porsche club.

very hard indeed... I love the car... I regret it today and I am sure I will until it is replaced and maybe even after it is replaced... I think the 996-3 is a great car... 007DT caught me at the right time... I had just sold my M5 and thought man if I close on this 996-3, I will have a chunk of change... I feel foolish right now but guys with much more experience and money than me have repeatedly told me it is a good move... at this point I just have to trust them. I am glad to sell my car to another RL'er and I am damn glad it is not a local sale...

no verdict yet... I will not mind missing a few days if it means saving a few bucks but once the weather can become remotely predictible... I will be jonesing...

OH, what a dick. Same kind of guy that drives down I- 5 in the left lane going 59mph.
