Iam looking for a GT2 996 adj. wing blade in carbon fiber and since i have a 996 GT2 from start i dont need the trunk part, so where can i find a wing blade ? I know that Carnewal have the oem piece for $7 500 which i think is a little expensive for what you get. http://www.carnewal-europe.com/cpx_p96152.htm

In summary

New OEM = stupid expensive
Used OEM = somewhat hard to find, $2500 to $3000 or so
New aftermarket available with wide quality variations

I have searched and read many threads regarding this but its almost always 996 TT that is converting to GT2 wing and its not the same thing, i dont need the trunk i just want the wing blade.

Did you have any luck finding a reasonable carbon fiber blade? I am looking for the same thing.

Got the CF blade today with UPS. Love when these UPS guys bring presents (for myself... ). Will try to install within the next couple of days. Will post some images of mounting... later guys..
