Default FS: 2005 996 GT3 in Canada

Purchase of the new (to me) 997 GT3 race car means the 996 GT3 has to go The car has been imported into Canada which requires paying 6.1%, 5% GST, plus approx 6% currency exchange and these cost are reflected in the price. I'm asking Cdn$68k equipped as is or Cdn$62k with all the goodies taken off and sold separately. Here's the specs;

2005 996 GT3 Arctic Silver with just under 40k kilometers (24k miles)
CPO warranty until 2011
Full leather interior with deviating red stitching
Silver center console
Red seat belts
Litronic headlamps

Additional equipment:
Tarret Engineering toe links and locking plates
RS motor mounts (plus OEM in a box)
Fabspeed cat bypass pipes (plus OEM cats)
Tequipment roll bar powder coated satin black
Carbon fiber rear wing blade (plus OEM)
Cup front splitter (plus OEM)
Screens on the front powder coated to match HRE wheels
GT3 Porsche crested seats (plus OEM)
Simpson 5 point harnesses (red)
PFC front rotors and 06 pads F&R
HRE C20 wheels with Nitto NT01 tires
(Stock wheels with PS2s in good shape)
Long wheel studs (plus OEM bolts)
Aluminum pedals
3M tape everywhere on the front

The car is quite fast and has been extremely well maintained. I'm willing to fix anything a PPI shows up that warranty doesn't cover although I'm not aware of anything that needs attention. The car came second in it's class at the local PCA club concours this year (behind a new GT2 with 2k kilometers on it).
PM me if interested and I can send some high res pictures.

Thanks for looking...

Peter

I've decided that Mooty cheats...no way that SBOX has a 2.5 liter engine in it; my guess is an X51 3.8. It's unnaturally fast. The next option I was considering was a bunt bar for the front bumper so I could get past
I considered keeping the 6GT3 as it's such a unique model but have decided to get more of a touring car instead. If it doesn't sell I'll probably end up trading it for a 997 or a newer Boxster....

Mooty does cheat- he painted the NOS bottle red so he uses it only on straights. That's why his sbox is on a 3rd tranny- can't handle the 100 hp bump : ). Mike ps- glws Leigh and damn u for getting that racecar : ). Looking forward to seeing u next season : ).

I bought the car from a Porsche dealer in Virginia with 18,166 miles on it so I've put 6k miles with probably 4k of that being track time. I'd recommend a PPI at the dealer here in Edmonton (Norden Autohaus) or at the independent where I get most of my work done; Eurasia Automotive. Replied to the PM....
