Default 6Gt3 power loss!

What would cause noticable power loss in a other wise stock 6Gt3? My friend & I both have 04 Gt3's, one w/ 10k odo & the other 30k odo. both cars are bone stock, yet the 10k car is vastly more power than the other! Would bad cats cause a loss of power or could it be something else?

"Safe" mode, cats, MAF, clogged intake/airbox, etc.

Crawl under the car with a rubber hammer and give your cats a tap.

Seems like a remote possibility, but here: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-gt2-...-power-go.html

+1 Try cleaning your MAF. It wouldn't cause a large power loss but I noticed a difference after I cleaned mine.
