Default will 997 GT3 wheels fit on our cars

I don't understand offsets very well, what about 51/57?

PM mooty, he's got all the secrets. he got my brother's 7gt3 ccw c10's to work on his current 6gt3 -- 245(40)/315(30). will prob require some sort of spacers.

No rub in rear, only rub in front @ full lock.

patrick, so.... i heard the silver car is here ;-)
i can always HELP you break it.... er.. i mean break it in....

997gt3 wheels is not a straight swap on to 996gt3. you need spacers but it should fit.

Attention !!

With 44/51... spacers will not help.

Stock 6GT3 rear wheels have an offset of 63mm, meaning the 51mm offset of the 7GT3 wheels place them outwards by 1/2" IF they were the same width which they ain't. With 12" rims (7GT3) vs the 6's 11" wheels it will further exacerbate the situation. Spacers will only make things worst.
