Default 996 GT3 rear brake duct..

We have seen that the 997.2 GT3 now comes w/ rear brake ducts and the parts mounts up for the 997.1 as well. Looks like a good upgrade. But I have never seen one for the 996 GT3, or hear you guys talk about it. (Understand that rear brake wear does not seem to be an issue for the 6GT3 due to the bias..)

Anyway, when I was browsing the FVD website, I saw these that's made to fit 6GT3.. so maybe some would be interested.. ! Just FYI.

Any idea if they are Porsche parts or FVD parts (aftermarket)?

Yeah, but there is no such a thing as brake that's too cold, right?! (unless you are talking about F-1 / GP style CF brake..) So cooler the better, no?!

waste of money.

most ppl dont really need front one's either.
when your pads last you one track day, then yes, get them.

LOL, I am not saying I need them.. but just wondered why they don't get much attention, consider it is one of those things where there's really no downside.. (keeping things cool = a good thing!)

if pads are too cool, they will not stop your car.
no one cares about the rear duct b/c it does pretty much next to nothing.

They should help if you're running the track in reverse. By the way how fast can car go in reverse? Mike
