Default Clutch pedal sticking WTF

My clutch pedal occasionally sticks 3/4 of the way up at the track yesterday. Anyone have this problem or know what to do about it?

Is clutch slave cylinder leaking? Had to replace that and the springs too. Mine got stuck at the track. Mike

The clutch hydraulic fluid (brake fluid) may need bleeding at the slave cylinder mounted on top side of transaxle. The fluid comes from the brake fluid reservoir.

I change and bleed mine very two years.

This is a common thing on Vettes. Sometimes the clutch flush/bleed fixes it.
Give it a shot.
Good luck,

Just had the same problem this week. Mechanic said sometimes the rubber plunger inside the slave reverses itself. However on mine we found a small leak in the back where the line was rubbing on the sharp fins of the transmission cooler. Had to ship a new line from Gemrany and replace. Check carefully for leaks. If none try a bleed. If that does not work, maybe a new slave?

I was thinking bleeding was necessary...

Do you think that it's a warranty issue? Or wear and tear?

I'm so pissed.

Nothings better then when it gets stuck- u use top of shoe to lift the clutch pedal back up. If it's a line possibly a warranty item don't know bout slave cylinder. Mike

I would think the slave cylinder would be warranty as it is not a consumable. Its worth a shot!
