Default WTB 996 GT3 in low 50s

Looking for a well sorted low mileage GT3 in the low 50s. I live in NJ... so if its local even better... can save on shipping.
Josh had a really good deal but by the time i figured out shipping and logistics, a lucky buyer grabbed the deal.
I would have loved Martin's car but for the mileage... its a bit too high. both are great guys to deal with.

thanks guys,
Aravind

It's a GREAT car for that money. It's at my race shop in Greensboro and I know both the shop owner and the car owner very well. You'd be hard pressed to find a better deal. Give Dave a call (the owner of the car). If I was in the market for another GT3 I would have already bought the car from him.

yeah guys contacted Dave... he gave me all details about the car... told me about Peter.
am working out a deal with Dave...
ONe concern guys:
his mechanic Greg told me that the leakdown numbers were @ 8% ... isnt that pretty high for a porsche... the pcars i have known have been in the 2-4% leakdown.
Please advise Dell and Peter.
And Peter since this is your old car... can you give me a little history... any offs on the car or type IIs, etc that I need to know.

thanks guys.. you r the best.

8% is not high at all, especially for a car with the miles and history of this one. They will run the race cars as high as 12-15% with no problems. What you really need to be concerned about is consistency across the cylinders. What are the numbers for all 6?

If you want a 2-4% leakdown GT3 you will need one that is low miles, not tracked, and be willing to pay closer to 60K.

the leakdown numbers as i was told was 5-8% across all cylinders.. that said the guage has a 3% error that needs to be considered..
