Default My Favorite GT2 sold :(

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...231510006r1075

Seinfeld's custom blue color car.
$115k. They were asking quite a bit more this time last year; beyond my means.
Even at $115k a stretch.
Oh well, I'm patient. A year or two down the road when things clear up economically. Polar Silver.... Mmmmm. My second fave.

Good looking car. Nice that it has the later wheels.

Anyone knows who ended up with it ? Anyone here ?
I think one more year and they will have bottomed out price-wise then stay level like the 993TT. Long term they will climb quite high.

I don't know squat about e-bay, so I have a question. Who posts that sold price and how do you know it's really what it sold for?

You can search for; Porsche GT2 , in ebay motors.
Check the completed listings option in the left hand display.
Most dealers use ebay to market the car. Few sell through it. Apparently this one did.

Soooo gorgeous, I was tempted to give up my GT2 for it, but didn't want to go through the whole modding process again, besides my RUF is special to me!

If you look at the title it looks like Jerry S sold it in nov. 2007. No one has registered it since if they still have Jerry's original title.

That car looks incredible!

just wondering -- what is so great about Seinfeld as a previous owner? Does celebrity ownership mean something that I am missing?
Big time collector -- I get that
hardly driven -- okay
but does the fact that Jerry owned/drove it mean something other than it came from a known collection?

FWIW -- I love the car... the price is just outrageous IMHO

He's the closest Porsche star our generation has to Steve McQueen.
Perhaps if he would do the lead role in the upcoming Cormac McCarthy's apocalyptic novel "The Road" it would add some added "coolness" to his franchise. I'd pay double market for that GT2 then
