+1 on rear toe arms.

Maybe aftermarket mufflers if the ones on there are stock.

Not mentioned on your list but, on the nice to have list. I have a full GEMBALLA exhaust system (Equal length headers, 100 cell cats, X-center pipe and tips) offered for sale.
Shoot me a pm with the details. Shipping may be a killer though from WA.

Yep... I am not sure how to explain it in wiriting... it is just better...
More mechanical and precise
Of course the ubiquitous (sp?) feels like a rifle bolt

Mine is the Manthey wing and I bought it used as part of a package... there have been RS wings on here recently and they are usually about $2500-3000 plus freight if I am not mistaken. I think a new one is over $4000 now...

Is the shifter cable a pretty straight forward DIY? Or it is something that would require major undertaking?!

My tech did it... all I do is change wheels

If you think you can do it, you probably can.

I am smart enough to know that I will eat an entire day trying to get it done, it will not be just right, and I will take it to the tech anyway to finish my hack job, so I just skip the whole "me attempting to do it just to save a couple bucks" as it never works out that way. Also my wife gets fussy if I spend too much time with the car... (not to mention mods she cannot see do not count -- shift cables, ring and pinion, susp, etc )

Rog, the pole position have the same width as GT3 seats and if I recall, you said you were too much of a big boy to fit in them. Also, I'm 5-8 and find the backrest to be close to being even with top of my head. Ask PJS996GT3 to post pictures of his seats. He's got awesome Recaro profi wrapped in leather.

Datax was selling his RS wing 2 weeks ago. You might be lucky if you PM him.

NICE.. One thing I loved about the GT3 RS was that precise "rifle bolt" feel... Maybe it was the SSK, or w/e they did but it was fantastic!

2nd, rims. I want to black it out like darth vader! I was thinking about getting the stock rims painted black and then picking up some CCW's for track days. Any suggestions in this area?

3rd, half cage or bar. I need something that provides safety, enables harness use but not so restrictive that I can't let my seat back. I'm 6'2" and need the leg space.

Any other "must haves" for the GT3? Man, I can't wait! It is truly a purist car without the roof and traction control...very raw. It will be 90% street, so I'm not doing any suspension work, etc. Thanks guys!!!
Look at you go eh?! I'd say as far as the roll bar get something like TC Design's stuff if you can. If it has to be bolt-in then maybe one of these:

That bar allows you to recline all the way back even with stock seats so it's good for tall people. You can see them installed in this 997GT2 which shows you what I mean.

The seat thing... well you really need to try a few first to be honest. There's a good few "tweeners if you know what I mean, from Recaro and Sparco that could work.
