Yeah, tell me about it! Hopefully the seller is cool, I've offered to pay the shipping to send these back in return for a refund, so he's really out nothing. If he doesn't do it, I'll just dispute the charge on my credit card...

I saw in your for sale posting that he refused to take them back. What's next? Personally, I would be fuming as a replica becomes a huge safety issue on track. Time to pay the seller a visit

I've left negative feedback, started a paypal dispute and I'm about to do a credit card chargeback.

Let the rest of us know who the seller is if it is not favorably resolved.

Seller was on a BMW forum, so I don't think he'll ever post over here...

Checked out the recaro stamp on back of my seats, no question yours are not real.
Hope the guy will take care of you!

Nope, he's basically told me he's sorry for screwing me over, but he's not sending me a refund. So I'm disputing the charge with my credit card. They need an "expert" opinion, so I'm having a local porsche shop examine the pics and write a letter.

POS seller, the real seats have all that was noted the most obvious being the white sticker with a P part number on the bottom.

Good Luck and sometimes a personal visit adds clarity to an otherwise confused soul.

Make sure he covers the shipping charges to send the fakes back, too. Or else, tell him which landfill he can find them in.

Yeah, well he's not sending me any of my money back, let alone covering the shipping to do so. Since he's in New York and I'm in Colorado, stopping by to help his memory isn't going to happen.

At this point it's up to the credit card company...

Are you kidding? He's sorry for taking your money for selling you a faugazie? He charged you for a diamond and sent you a cubic zirconia. Explain to him kindly that what he did was fraud and a felony. Ouch! Of course, that's all dependent on how he described the seats to you. If he stated they were Genuine Porsche GT3 seats, he's in some trouble.

I'd get the law after him.

Hey guys, I need a little help. Could someone please take some pics of the following and email them to me?

I need a good shot of the back of the seat with the "Recaro" embossed logo and the torx screws on the back of the shoulder harness holes. A good shot of the inside and outside lap belt harness holes, a good shot of the entire back and front of the seat to show the quality of the leather and lastly (and this is the tough one) a shot of the bottom of the seat showing the porsche part # sticker as well as the seat belt harness guide nubs.

Thanks!!
