Default Can you add a sub strap to the GT3 seats?

The fixed back ones? Is there already a provision for a sub strap there from the factory, or would I have to (gulp) cut a hole in the shell and upholstery to make one?

Seats like these:

See the front seat pad (closest to the steering wheel)? It's held in place with velcro. Just pull it off and you will see a hole that you can thread the sub straps through. It's easy to wrap the sub straps with the seats out of the car.

Keep the Rennlist recycling going and buy Mooty's sub strap bars.

Cheers,

And I have two sets of the R-9001 - Tunnel Side Seat Belt Mount Kit if needed.

I actually don't need sub strap bars, just wanted to make sure the seats could accomadate a sub strap without having to hack them up.

Thanks for the offers and the help!

Also -- yes, you pick up the velcro holding down the front seat cushion.

The bottom frame of the seat already has a slot in it, which is revealed when you lift up the velcro-ed part, and you thread the sub-strap through that slot.

Piece-o-cake.
