i'll give 15% off the price you find for a new one, is that fair.

well, if earlyapex is behind me, then we are friends.
if he's in front of me in a race, i dont know him.

i have ran hoosiers before.
what i do is i set a time with R6 when it's 6-8 HC, then try to match with with R888 or mpsc. if i can't match it, then i dont deserve another set of R6. it works.

why dont you shoot me pm and propose a price that you will buy now. who knows. i may sell. i have too much stuff in garage. just bought 4 set of wheels for BSR. i can't walk in the garage.

Brad the Traqmate is a really good system, if you're into the technical bits. If you're just looking for a lap timer and don't really care for all the data, at this point, than you don't really need a traqmate.

I must say, it is great just to see what exactly you are doing on track, and comparing laps. Also kills time when you're sitting in the paddock. If you want more info between different timing and data acquisition units, talk to the Gormans at Gorman Motorsports they know what's up...

Thanks Chasen

I am curious about where I can do better and the data driving performance aspect, I used a similar setup when long range cycling years ago

But I sweat over the slippery slope of really caring how fast I go/having a big ego about my lap times/wasting money trying to go faster rather than just having fun. That's why I don't time laps now...

Okay back to the original thread sorry for the hijack

Yea, cycling has all the goodies as well, SRM/powermeters. I remember riding with my buddies and after a hard interval, we would talk about our peak wattage etc... lol

We're all having fun out there, and lap times aren't as much about ego(blah blah blah) but more of a tool. especially when there are others out there with same car/setup as you. just my $0.02...

you'd be surprised what they have now! if you think traqmate is complex, they have systems that can rival the complexity of MoTec! lol
