Default Installing DeMan rotors - Small Issue

Intalling DeMan rotors right now and I've got an issue. The rotors are not labeled and I'm trying to figure out left from right. The internal veins are not directional which is how I can usually tell left from right. Do the slots point towards the back of the car like the stock rotors or do they point to the front of the car.

TIA!!!

Based on the majority of pictures of mounted slotted rotors, I would tend to think that the slots need to point towards the front.

Got it. Apparently the slots are supposed to point towards the front of the car.

Thanks guys!

Not needed if you are tracking the car. If it's a DD, then you want the spring retainer clip.

Shoot, I wish I would have known that when I last changed out my pads. That thing is a b**** to get back in. I needed two people. What's the point of having the spring? Keep noise down?

The spring is to keep pressure on the pads so they don't click and clack when hitting small bumps. You don't need two person to put them on, just two fingers from one hand and your other hand to push the pin in.

Josh, those rotors are for the rear. You better swap them out.

Just kidding, you did okay.

Colby, I thought you were a "logger" on the weekends, hands of steel.(!!!keep your car!!!)
Crap, when I changed to Cup shifter cables and did it myself (with help from Josh) I wanted to throw a wrench so bad, but held back. Some things are better left to a mechanic with a car lift, this being one of them.
Summer is almost here, thank God.

Search this forum, "rick rotors" and pull up Rick DeMan rotor alternative, page 4 for a good picture, slots facing forward.

LOL! Ya logger/tennis player. Same difference. I'm fairly certain at this point I'm going to keep the car. I really dont want to let her do for under 60k and in this market that seems like a pretty long shot.
