It's a beautiful car, you must make a date for a DE track event to learn, appreciate, and have some safe serious fun.

Took the car in today to my clear film guy. (He has previously done my 750 and MCoupe). I'm doing a total front bumper, complete hood, both fenders, headlights, A pillars, full roof, rear wing leading edge, side intakes, door handles, and the area behind the rear wheels. Will have the car back by Friday and will post new high res pics on Saturday.

Question: Everyone, from pick ups to Toyotas to Mini Coopers (S models as a matter of fact, which are no pushovers) want to race me. I stay above the fray, and stay cool, but I have never experienced such hostility, Even in my M Coupe. Do you guys get the same thing?

LOL on occasion, but for the most part, nope!!! You are clearing everything aren't you LOL, I wish I cleared a few parts, ah well!! Most people here want me to speed up, rev it, and that's the few who notice what it is hah!

I guess it's just Vegas. A lot of show offs here.

Congrats, she's a beauty.

Not sure about the little noise you describe but probably something like that.

Sounds like our wives would get along really well together.

Thanks. Regarding the noise, I took care of that. Took the car to Carl's Place in Vegas, which is the premier independent Porsche shop in town. They put it on a lift and found that the clamps to the exhaust tips were a razor's edge away from a bracket which was part of the stock exhaust. We cut the brackets and took care of the problem.

As for my wife, She's fantastic, 23 years and 5 kids. Couldn't have gotten luckier. Only problem is she thinks cars are just transportation and are good enough if they can go the speed limit. Has already labeled my GT2 (along with my M Coupe) "A complete waste of money"

You have your coilover turned all the way full stiff?

Watch out for scraping the front lip spoiler. Mine is in prety pathetic shape, and I put the brand new one in the garage on for long trips high speed stability issues that comes with a chewed up lower lip spoiler.

Might want to loosen up the damper setting, full stiff might make that back end scary!!

Anyway GORGEOUS car, simply beautiful!

Thanks for the thumbs up!

Don't really know about the damper setting, only that GMG said they lowered the car to "European spec"

I'm very careful with the lip. Just in case I've ordered a new one to have on hand.

BTW, the police shots were with the help of my brother, the cop. We had a great time. He would get behind me at a light and turn on his overheads. I would flip him the bird, and take off. It was Hilarious! The people at the light were amazed. He would then pull me over and I would take photos. I let him drive the car. He called it "scary fast".
