Default 996 GT3 seats

With 996 GT3 seats, can you still get to, and clean the interior area of the rear window?

Are you talking about the 1 piece Euro GT3 seats?

Yes, just move one fully forward, and the other fully backward, you will have access to the back. That's how I loaded three of my race tires in the back.

I assume you then access the interior of the rear window by going over the center console?

There's room there to fit 3 tires?! Wow!

Correct. I can actually get to the back on the side with the seat moved fully forward, but I couldn't get the tire through there.

I forgot to snap a picture, two weeks ago I packed the four BBS wheels in the back of the RS. 9"/11" wheels with 240/270 slicks that are much taller than the OEM tires, and as wide as a 265/305 set of DOT-R tires.

I'm not as nimble as most of you younger guys, and I have a roll bar. I use something like this: http://www.5starshine.com/info-reach...ning-tool.html Mine isn't exactly like it, but can't find the link to the product I use.

With a roll bar (DAS sport) it's nearly impossible. Something like the tool above would be very nice. Might need a longer extension though.

Home now, so looked at what mine is, "inShield Wiper." http://www.inshieldwiper.com/ This doesn't have an extension, but I am nimble enough to clean my rear window even with the roll bar.

A client of mine has Euro GT3 seats in his turbo with the Techequipment bar back there and pays me to come clean just the interior glass and back 1/2 of the interior on his turbo twice a year. It's fairly doable for me...it's pretty darn easy for my petite wife.
