Default GT3s at Schattenbaum Lightning event

Attended this weekend's event at Lightning, a new track for me. A mere 13
GT3s (including a Cup or two) present. So much for exclusivity! A fine event with great weather. Thanks to Schattenbaum.

The RS was Mike Van Kralingen from NNJR. He stayed for the rest of the weekend. Most impressive on the track was the 997 Cup car, trailer pulled by Ford F-650, the biggest and baddest pickup truck I have ever seen.

I was one of them. Great event, great track, great region. I couldn't stop thinking about it today.

That was my 7th day at Lightning, and every day I go, I try to find another way to shave a second off here or there. Track has such good rhythm and flow, plus you really have to work hard to hit armco (only one armco incident at Lightning since it opened, and that was a instructor with Metro). I also get terminal velocity prior to T1 almost equal to bus stop at WGI.
