The front lift coefficient can be reduced by the stock lip.
You should leave it there and use 2-3 bolts in the middle to mount it. I lost a couple before.
The cup one is marginally better.
To give you an example of what the stock lip does, note that the new 991 has from the factory a front-axle lift cAF of 0.04 and the same car just by adding the sport PASM which lowers the front by 20mm goes to a cAF of 0.02.
If you want to add real front downforce and not just minimize the front lift of the 6GT3 you should close the bumper's bottom openings, tilt the radiator and allow (hot)air to exit from the top bumper holes of your RS bumper.
And you can also use an even bigger aftermarket lip.

My solution is to use double sided tape between the pushpins + a bead of black silicone between splitter and the bumper. The result looks very professional (at least on a black car) and the splitter is held on tight. On top of that, you have a perfectly air tight seal, allowing the splitter to work efficiently.
One of the annoying things about just using the pushpins is that every time you scrape it, it gets pushed down a little bit, and you get gaps between the splitter and the bumper. I'm not sure how well the splitter functions in such a situation.

Once the spoiler has come off due to a trip over grass or a pot hole in the paddock or scraping on the way up a trailer ramp, then the seal of the double stick tape is ruined. As the spoiler SPLITS the air up and around your car at 100 mph the air splitting effect is enough to overcome the rivit strength and the splitter will fall off. Why you would keep buying new ones instead of asking a corner worker to get it for you between sessions is beond me.

Sometimes when the splitters are dropped, they get "found". I've got some great video of a 6GT3 splitter coming at me at 110 mph approaching the esses at VIR.

I'd rather lose the splitter than destroy my bumper. I have put double sided tape and a bead of clear silicone three years ago and have had zero problems even at Road America at 155 mph+. This is with a cup splitter that has more surface area than a stock splitter and likely more force. By the way, use the newer style clips that use a phillips head screw as they seem to hold better than the original push pin style.
