Replacement Clutch Suggestions

I have a RS clutch & flywheel (not sure if the disc is AP or Sachs) and I was thinking of replacing it with something that grabs a little more since the car is due to go in for an RMS. Currently, pedal effort is extremely light, which I like since it's a street car but I wouldn't mind sacrificing a bit of that for more bite. If my primary concern is clamping force vs. pedal pressure, then what would the order of selection be? I did a search and found that most suggest a cup car clutch for track and a standard GT3 set-up for street...there must be something in between?

I've driven 4 different GT3s, and none had a clutch that could be classified as anything like "light." I've driven two 997Ss, and they have such a relatively light clutch that I stalled.

Honestly, I drove an '02 C2 that had a heavier pedal than mine and it was stock. This is why I feel that something is not right, so what are my options if I do a Sachs PP & disc?

For the GT3 and TTs we only use the Sachs GT2 (their term) pressure plate. It has the most clamping force of any other PP on the market. They are expensive, but then changing out later costs a lot of $$$.
At idle with the clutch pedal out you will get some gearbox noise with the LWF regardless of the clutch and PP. Some Mobil one will quiet it down.

my pleasure. I will be in town around Christmas for a couple of weeks. Going to get out of the rain and visit my daughter. Do you ever get over to the Cal Speedway?

If you really want something "grabby" perhaps a Tilton twin or triple 5.5" clutch pack is of interest? (I'm sort of joking here).
My guess is also you need the Sachs Cup Car plate and a new disc (sprung hub works fine and helps with the chatter). This is the preferred street / track set up if you have an RS flywheel.
