GT3-Redux-glad to be back!
Well I bought my first GT3 on June 11, 2003. Picked up at the factory and after a week of tooling around in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with it I shipped it home. It was the 2nd US GT3 delivered and I got it in the States when all the original cars were released(there was a computer screwup with the first bunch of cars and they were held at the port for a few weeks). I put 19,000 miles on it in 16 months and sold it to replace it with a Stradale.
I loved the CS. It was striking, great performer, loud (very very loud) and absolutely gorgeous. I never quite felt like I could toss it around like the GT3.
Well, after almost three years with the CS, I sold it and bought another 996 GT3.
The "new" car is a 6500 mile example that has so many options I really never even considered ordering with my original car. I really didn't care that much if it had carbon fiber this or that as long as he went like hell. This "new" GT3 is in showroom condition and I expect to use it as a daily driver.
I will post a picture when I get it-it's being shipped from California.
The Strad was nice but it's nice coming back to the GT3.

Welcome back.
I have been contemplating swapping out of the GT3 to try something different/new for a while but find new things I love about the car that keeps her in the stable.
