It would probably help to let any potential buyer how many track HC's they have.

or decrease someone's chance to sell them. sweet.

at almost 300% discount, people won't be concerned with that as much, especially if they want a backup or rain set.

If the 888's are anything like RA 1's, they'll wear out before HC out.

as per PM, I will take them if you cover the shipping. No problem shipping them slow as possible

Good to know. If the R888 is like the RA1 which is like the NT01 (which I have run), then you are absolutely spot on. I think I got something like 40-45 HC's before they corded and the grip level was still there until I decided to take that last session with metal cord showing That was a fun ride

Not intended as a bump, valid question for those interested w/6GT3 fitment. OEM size tire on 996 GT3 is: 295x30x18 Rear / 235x40x18 Front. Confirmed size offered: 305 x 35 x 18 Rear / 245 x 40 x 18 Front.
Knowing that many have tracked their 6GT3's w/various tire sizes, please advise. Fronts should fit, rears are more the question as the profile is higher (width should be fine).
TIA.

With a RD of 26.3" the 305/35 is a very tall rear for the GT3. You "might" have tire rub with that tall of a tire. The largest rear I ran was the 315/30 NT01 which was 25.3" and the Hoosier 315/30 R6 at 25.6" and was very close. Hopefully somebody can confirm if they have run the R888 without modifying offset or fender rolling.

The other downside to the taller RD is the gearing in the car. The gearing is already very tall and a taller RD will just make the gears that much longer.

I think John (mooty) has run the R88 so hopefully he can chime in.

I ran the 305/35 R888 on my 7GT3. It was almost spot on diameter as the original 19" 305/30s that came with the car.

I have the same sizes on my GT3 that are being sold. The rears were too tall and I had to raise the platform to make them fit. Ugh. The fronts are too wide as well with stock suspension and a mild camber up-front. I'm running 2ish up front and they still mildly rub.

This tire combo is not a direct bolt on.

RD of 26.3" is the exact value for the 7GT3. My suggestion to get max exposure for selling would be to post over on the 7GT3 forum as it is the correct tire size for them, not the 6GT3.

Thanks to all that have chimed in. After posting question, my thought was that these are the correct size for a 7GT3. Confirmed!
