New wheels coming and need to know what tires
I just bought a set of 19" street wheels for my GT3. I am looking for what brand and size tires you guys would recommend on the car. I am thinking about a 235/35/19 up front and either a 295/30/19 or 305/30/19 in the rear.
Which of these rear tires do any of you guys have experience with?
Also what brand do you recommend?
On a side not I will have a set of 18" Kinesis K28s for sale here soon. The rear Pirellis on them finished but the fronts have about 50% treat left. The wheels are in great shape. They have the polished lip with the anthracite center. Let me know if anyone is interested in them.

Set, I'd go with the 235/35 and 295/30 setup and my choice would be PS2. The 295/30 is still going to be a bit tall (26") but if it's just for street cruising then no biggie. For the track, the last thing I would rec'd is going to a larger RD and making the gears already longer than they are. The 305/30 is just too tall at almost 26.5"!

street wheels. potenzas in OE size or regular pilots would be fine. Im sure Toyos would be fine.
Since it is only street use, id go for the cheapest of the three above.

CWay: I don't know how much to ask for the wheels. I am thinking $3K plus shipping. Let me know your thoughts.
Dell: Thanks for the insight. On the street I am not too worried about the gearing because you can't approach using the proper gearing in the car on the street. The main thing I don't want to mess with is ABS or some other issue.
TCSRacing: I am leaning to the 997 GT3 sizes but we will see. Thanks for your input.

You won't have an issue on the street with ABS running the 26" RD. But if the wheel is wide enough, then I would definitely run the 315/25 like Rad suggested.
One thing I would NOT do is run the cheapest tire as TCS is suggesting. The PS2 is a phenomenal tire and IMHO worth the few extra dollars especially on a car like this. Not sure how much experience TCS has with a GT3 tires but that is not proper logic he is offering as the suggestions seemed to be based on assumption.

FWIW, my TT runs 235/35/19 and 305/30/19.
These are the OE sizes in Michelin Pilot Sport 2's (N1) and they're readily available. The rears are only $553/each... OUCH!!!
The MPS2 is an outstanding street tire, and for a street tire, it performs quite well at the track, too.
