Colby,
Bar looks stout! More details about the exhaust please, it sounds great! Headers? Cross pipe? One muffler? Running cats?

I'm interested about the exhaust as well (and the picture of the camera girl people are talking about). Thanks.

I like the bar very much. Your exhaust sounds like my fabnspeeds cat bypass and mufflers. Does it save weight as well? Regards. Mike

I believe it saves a lot of weight although i dont have the specifics. I suppose if one was really interested next week i could remove and weigh one of the bullet mufflers. My assumption is that they are extremely light as they are a direct off shoot of what GMG ran on one of their 996 Cups in World Challenge or the Yoko Cup. In fact i'll be taking the car to my local tech tomorrow sometime, maybe i can have him remove a muffler real quick and weigh it.

I'll call Fab tomorrow and have him posts the specifics. Again is a bullet style Cup muffler. Its extremely loud, almost as loud as mbp pipe at WOT but around town is extremely liveable, cold start is no where near as loud as mbp pipe (unfortunately), and you dont loss the back pressure needed to keep the low end torque

Stock headers, no cross pipe, one bullet muffler on each side, stock cats. I'm still curious to see how a cross over system with mbp pipes sound. If you're interested maybe we can work out a trade.

the bar is very beefy, much better than before.

can you post the mounting points of the 6 legs? seems like the rear leg are bolted to the tower.

is the bar in mass production yet?

The rollbar looks great! Is it significantly more than a Teq bar? How about compare to the RS bar / cage?

It still mounts to the 4 seat belt points but with the rear main hoop kickers having a little different design than the TE bar. They use a more cylindrical end to help spread sheering force (see photo). The 'custom' part includes the rear kickers to the shock towers and the horizontal bar that connects the shock towers.

TE Bar

GMG Bar

The main hoop section is in full production but the 'custom' portion is built to order.

The TE bar runs 1k. Their new WC-Bar (the main hoop of what i have) runs $1650.

I believe the RS Bar runs just shy of $3500.

So the WC-Bar does not connect to the shock towers like yours?

Thanks for the info!

Correct. You have to call GMG and special order it. Although they may mass produce it shortly.

How much did GMG charge you for the exhaust?

FWIW, GMG's new World Challenge bar with rear shock tower connecting kickers and horizontal brace is $2200 but the rear kickers and horizontal brace can be retrofitted to any of their older bars. Parts are $570.
