A ride around Portland Int. Raceway
Thought I would post this link to my YouTube video.
It is a rare occasion we get to take passengers along for a ride, but I finally got the chance at this track day put on by Gran Prix Imports (Lamborghini Dealer).
My wife has never been in my car (due to the way I drive) until this video, which she is in the passenger seat, bless her heart.
All of the mods (or additions) to this car, are a direct reflection of the help from the Rennlist community.
Thank You to all that helped, I just bought the car 3 months ago!

She did great and actually had fun. No screaming from her, however the Hoosiers were talking a little.

Bill, I just sent you an email.
Now that you will have 2 sets of wheels, which set will you put the Hoosiers on?
No more squeeling tires for you, just super fast speeds. I have been running the hoosiers and really like them (a lot) and for giggles, I put my Cups on and ran some laps (we had an open track day).
Cups are good, but Hoosiers are GREAT.

Here are a couple of pictures from 6/27 at PIR.
Adrenline Racing had a track day for advance drivers only, 30 cars maximum (25 cars showed) and it was an open track!
All I can tell you is, if you ever get the opportunity to do an open track day, DO IT.
Way too much fun.

Holger, they are RG5's and in the above picture and I do have spacers in all the way around.
I have ran the car with and without them. No rubbing even with the 315's and 245's, which I thought there might be.

5 mm spacers and there is a difference. The 10 mm wider track is small, however I will use them all the time now. I love the wheels and tires, they are the bomb!
I ran some laps with my stock GT3 wheels and Cup tires, seemed heavy, especially on braking.

I just added a set of RG5s (second hand) for my track wheels as well - I've always liked this classic look and the finish is excellent GT3 fitment and running stock MPSC sizes. I'm not using spacers. Is this just purely a performance mod? Could 10mm extra track make that much difference?
