Trust me I thought about that. But in the end I decided I needed to do what was best for me. I actually talked to several track buddies today and agonized over that as I really enjoy giving rides but in the end, like I said, this is what is best. With that said, I can still bolt in the seat if I need to and will keep it handy at select events.

That was the first thing I thought about it when I see the cool box.

Is the box too big to fit through your cage, can't pull up the carpet in the back seat and tack the aluminum mounting tray to the body? You can still access it for ice if you can get it back there. To pump out, you could run the pump with the hose QD'd and check valve open, or make a special hose with open ends.

I would really try to fit it in the front boot, even if you have to drill a new hole in the firewall. It would make the installation stealthier and still could give rides.

I can still give rides by removing the box and bolting in the pax seat.

You're going to sit in the front bonnet for a ride with Dell? Man, you're a brave person.

And drilling a hole in the firewall is a good idea to run the wire for the communicator. I wouldn't want to be in the bonnet without the chatterbox.

Ok, so I decided against the pax side install. I had a nice long talk with my car owner (the wifey) and it looks like the front boot is now where it will be installed. The car is at the race shop right now getting it installed in the front. Bottom line was that I give a TON of rides to my friends, my students, and other instructors, which is something that would have been for the most part eliminated. My wife felt very strongly about this and I understand her stance. She was standing up for those of you that enjoy the thrill ride that can only be had in a GT3! Thank her next time you see her at the track

Great. I hope to be sitting next to you hyperventilating sometime in the near future, while you are cool as a cucumber!
