Since they are not for the GT3 I'll pipe in. 
For the money the KW V3 are a fantastic street/DE combo. As you said they are very popular in Europe and I believe they have a few records at Nurburgring. I first used them four years ago on a Japanese car and now have them on one of my 968s. Stiff, but the high speed rebound just eats up the bumps so it is comfortable on the road.
