Dell,

If you look in Panorama, I think it has been in the last several issues, and find the ad in Race Cars for Sale for Marcos Sowinski he converted his GT3 to club race with PBOC, its yellow like yours, I am sure he wouldn't mind talking to you about his experiences.

Thanks for the info Peter. I might just contact him. Right now, I am thinking that the Spec Boxster series is something I need to look into. Just saw that PCA added it as a class which is very intriguing.

After following your build progress I am thinking that (like you said) it looks like a blast. And the best part is I can convince my friends to jump on board as well! I should be making a decision very shortly. Don't be surprised if I give you a call for some build advice, etc..

Not with the new gears. Immediately send it to a Super Class.

Funny cause I was also looking at boxsters for sale for dirt cheap and was wondering if the spec boxsters are plain regular with 215HP or can you go with "S"??
Just picked up a Merc E-Class with AMG kit

That would be great if you figure Spec Boxsters out! I was thinking about that class as well!

If your only going to club race twice a year, why not rent a car for those 2 races. After your 2nd experience, then decide if buying another car for dedicated racing is your thing.

Brother, you are on a slipperly slope indeed!!

Dell anytime give me a shout. But I am not selling you your parts back!!

Sould have the car back middle of next week with the cage in and then we will be able to finish it up. Have all the parts here so it should only be a couple of days to finish it up.

Wow. Didn't know you got new gears, Dell. Awesome!

Did you know there were a boxster with 911 engine at Zone 2. Pretty damn quick!

Seems like the old C or B would be a good place to start

I vote for spec boxster plus GT3 for DE.

My 930 is my DE car. I might turn my 325IS into a spec e30 car for racing someday. I think it's a good combo.

If you raced last year in PCA then you can use a roll bar for the 08 season. If you start racing in 08, then you must put in a cage. All GT3s will need a cage in 09. As expensive as renting a cup for the weekend must be, It seems the best / inexpensive option.
