Great!! Keep the car. You lose so much money when you sell it. If you still wanna sell something, sell me your rims!! ![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Can't believe it, but I've had multiple low ball inquiries...unbelieveable...I'm selling this car for
$76k...That's how much a bone stock GT3 costs...let's see, mine has:
Seats = $3,000
Bar painted = $2,000
Harnesses = $800
Wheels = $1,000
Rear Decklid painted = $1600
Rear Wing painted = $1800
Mirrors Painted = $400
Custom welded Exhaust = $750
GMG suspension installed = $4500
Brand New MPSC tires (0 miles) = $1400
Front Grilles = $250
Cup brake ducts and Lip = $300
Pagid all around = $1000
Brand new front rotors = $800
total = right around $20K, cuz I'm missing some stuff I'm sure....Not to mention celebrity ridden in (john Voight), that's gotta add at least
$1k..![soapbox](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/soapbox.gif)

Alright Dan - Congrats on keeping the car! Now you need to get it out to Utah for some DE excitement... MMP is a fast track. It's all that I know (other than Barber), so in my world - it is the best!

i think you made right decision in keeping it. you are giving it away otherwise.
give it street duty and track it when you need to feel some speed. otherwise run the MX5.
The RS i have now sees only 1/2 the track time it used to see, as i run 996GT3 as well. i would really hate to sell them...

mooty- how many days a year would you say you spend on the track? I'm trying to set realistic goals for myself this offseason and you're the main man of CA trackdays. pm me if you don't want to disclose publicly
Dan- hey you need at least one track car for MMP anyways! I'd love to run that track...

The trick to MMP is finding days that you can run the FULL or OUTER configurations.
For 2008, the FULL TRACK days include:
*June 9: Ken Garff Porsche throigh Lappingdays.com
*June 13: MMP Open Track Day (Track Sponsored)
*September 26, 27, 28: PCA 3-Day Event
*October 17: MMP Open Track Day (Competition Cars ONLY)
For 2008, the OUTER LOOP days include:
*November 22: MMP Open Track Day
You guys may want to make the trip at the end of the baseball season and plan on the Oct or Nov dates... The best three day event by far is the PCA event/Club race at the end of September...
I have already told the wife that I am buying a trailer late this summer in order to drive Leguna and Infineon this winter. Boo-yah!
Mooty - you will be contacted!

CJ, where you been? I was scared you got mugged in Detroit Rock City...I've got a plan, this fall, we take my GT3 and your RS from Dallas to Park City (road trip straight through), hook up with MMP boys for a track day, I'll leave my car at home in Park City and we'll take your RS to Laguna Seca when we do Skip school and hook up with Mooty...then you can shoot down to SoCal in the RS for offseason, I'll fly back to Dallas

dan I was thinking of doing something like that actually- there's a PCA event in Daytona that I want to run around halloween- but here's my twist...I need to be at the October ALMS race @ Laguna...and maybe Petit Lemans 2 weeks before at road atlanta...
October 3-5th @ Road America for skip barber (alternative to the LS one)
October 16-18th @ Laguna Seca for ALMS
October 24th-26th @Laguna Seca for Skip Barber school
October 31-Nov2nd @ Daytona for PBOC DE
November 22 @MMP outer loop (thanks blake for posting the info!)
other possible west coast track events in early october
Oct 3 Thunderhill – TMR
October 4-5 Llihrednuht Raceway (Thunderhill Backwards!) – NASA NorCal
Oct 9 Thunderhill – YPTD
Oct 11-12 Willow Springs (Big Track) – Alfa Romeo Club
Oct 11-12 Buttonwillow – NASA SoCal
alternative to PBOC cross country adventure is to stay in california and do:
Oct 29-30 Thunderhill – HOD
October 31 Infineon Raceway/Sears Point - Speed Ventures
Nov 1-2 Willow Springs (Big Track) – Pantera Club
november in California:
Nov 7-8 Thunderhill – TMR
November 7th Infineon Raceway – TMR
November 7-9 Infineon Raceway – NASA NorCal
Nov 8-9 Buttonwillow – NASA SoCal
November 14th Streets of Willow – Redline
Nov 15-16 Thunderhill – HOD
Nov 19 (Wed.) Willow Springs (Big Track) -- OTR
Nov 21 Streets of Willow – Speed Ventures
Nov 22 Infineon/Sears Point – TMR
Nov 21-22-23 California Speedway (Full Course – ROVAL) – Speed Ventures
Nov 24-25 Laguna Seca Raceway – TMR
Nov 29-30 Buttonwillow – Green Flag
total I could end up doing 30 days pretty easily in october and november combined- which would also cost me about 2 sets of brake pads (or so), 2-3 sets of tires, and 3 oil changes, 5 brake fluid flushes, 3 alignments, and roughly $10,000 in track fees including the skip barber classes...it's not too far off what I spent driving around europe in my gt3 last fall and paying 1.40 euros/ liter of gas...
so...what I need to do is save up my change now- borrow, rent or lease a super duper tow vehicle with possible enclosed trailer for 2 months- bunk up, and bring spares with me. YAY!
