Yup I know that one. Happened at Roebling Road in Savannah, GA on a private track day. The owner lifted coming out of T9 (100+ MPH high speed sweeping corner on the front straight) and hooked it right into the inside wall on the front straight. Everyone involved was safe but the car was totaled.

I recently had a buddy put his 6GT3 into a wall at Infineon...it looked a lot worse than that and it was far from totalled. I know you never know until you get underneath the twisted metal, but from the look of the rest of the panels in that photo, it doesn't look totalled to me. Hope it is not true...
