LM's are a two piece wheel and E88's are a 3 piece motorsport wheel. The LM's are significantly less expensive and don't have the long wait times of the e88's.

However this also makes E88s a bit more fragile if you hit potholes on the road or aggressive curbs on circuit. Plus more complexity when it comes to refurbs, resealing, etc.
Aesthetically I prefer the looks of the LMs however I know conventionally most people prefer E88s.
I also run a set of LMs with slicks and they've been fine with the additional workload.
Thanks!
Just came back from another weekend at the Nurburgring. The car used to belong to a rennlist member 85gold that took good care of the car and started the slippery slope.
I just took over custody and kept developing the car each year.
It's a long way from stock as you can see. However the gearbox and engine is stock. Engine has over 70000miles on it and still feels reasonable strong. Has a lightweight flywheel and 4.0l clutch that makes it pick up revs a little quicker.
Refreshed the MCS suspension last winter that made a massive difference. They had been on the car since 2012 and been working hard at Sebring and now at the Nurburgring. Both tracks are very hard on suspension.
Pretty much everything is solid to the chassi. solid engine mounts orange trans mounts. cup shifter cables, CAE shifter.
TARETT Pro series lower control arms back and front. Everything mono balled underneath.
Has a full welded cage and stripped out interior.
997cup manifold and a custom exhaust from Ferrita in Sweden to clear 95db sound limit that most tracks have in Europe.
Brake wise it's running giro disc front and stock rear with pagid pads and braided lines. The car brakes unbelievable well. 2800 punds with 1/2 tank.
Actually tried the new Nankang CR-S tires for the first time this weekend. Had 4laps in wet condition and the felt more confident inspiring than the trope R that are on the BBS E88s. It was tourist driving and I had my daughter with me in the car so didn't push that hard even in the dry. We normally go around 8min pace when she is in the car. Leave plenty of room in all the "crazy fast" sections when I have a passenger in the car.
