Hi guys,

Finally took the plunge at the end of last year. Bought myself a nice Artic silver GT3 Mk1. (previous Porsche's: Boxster, Boxster S, 996 Cab.). I chose Mk1 because I feel it's the nicer looking GT3, build in Weissach, and supposed to deliver the purest/raw handling. (Pleas don't shoot me , I love all GT3's! )
Building date of my new to me GT3 is 2001. 32.000 miles. Fresh Porsche warranty. It's a comfort version, but it comes with the clubsport bucketseats. Unfortunately I don't have any good pictures yet, so this mobile phone image will have to do for now.
A NooB question: I know the swaybars shoud be adjustable? How? Could not find a post regarding this issue.

Cheers,

Maximus

Welcome! I'm not the one that is going to shoot you...I agree with you, hehehe. I think the MK1 was not build in Weissach. In the Mk1 era, the parts were sent from Zuffenhausen to Weissach - the car was hand mounted there. Nowadays, we've got the opposite circuit - the GT3 parts are sent to Zuffenhausen from Weissach Motorsport Division (from the logistic store) but the process is fully robotic. The Mk1 have that school bus feeling...

Welcome Maximus! Another silver Mk1... the fastest colour

The parts were sent to Weissach for the car to be assembled... so I think 'made in Weissach' is appropriate.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Here some more pictures of my GT3.
What do you guys think of the following options:
- 996 GT3 Ram-Air Spoiler 99-01 (TÜV-approved) http://shop.fvd.de/?VID=484288&VCD=6...Body=&CarYear=
- Grill Mesh Set for Front Bumper to protect the radiators

Cheers,

Maximus
