The car is flawless and has only 561 miles!!!!

Flew out last week had it checked out by a fairfield PD in CT, put It up on the rack no leaks or scratches.
CHECKED FOR OVER REVS
Stage one: 0
Stage two: 0

This will be the longest 2 weeks of my life
It is going to be a very long winter

WOW! Nice find. You've got some catching up to do to average 10k miles per year (JK). Regardless of mileage, start that car every week. Don't be alarmed if the rear main shows seepage, low mileage ones sometimes do.

Congratulations! I just bought a 2005 Guards Red last week. But mine was driven 20,000 miles. These are amazing cars. Enjoy it.

Welcome to the club! It'll be torture with her locked up out of the cold over the winter... but such sweet torture it is knowing dry clear roads are only a few months away. Enjoy in good health.

Congrats on a very nice find. And welcome aboard! By the way, it's okay to visit your GT3 in the garage on a regular basis

Congrats on the new car. Just curious regarding the photo of the underside. My Arctic Silver 996 GT3 is Arctic silver all over the body and frame including underneath the car. The car in the photo looks like it has a silver or light colored undercarriage with what looks like red overspray. Is that how it came from the factory?

I think the factory leaves the undercarrage white. I have seen several different exterior colors where the undercarriage is white. There are plenty of Rennlisters with silver cars who can tell you what they have.

Thanks guys for all of the compliments, It sounds like I got a great deal on this car from all of the positive responses. I have been looking for about 4 months for a good one, one slipped by in September and I thought I would not find a better one, boy was I WRONG!!
It was slate Grey with 9K for 74k from Luxury motors, they wholesaled it to Claire Porsche and it became certified and the price went to 87k I am sure glad I DID NOT GET IT.

when Intercity Delivers I will post some pics of the car tucked away warm and cozy in a heated toy shop for the LOOOONG CHICAGO winter

JUSTIN, What is normal seepage for the rear main?

THANKS
Dave

If rear seal happens(leak)- maybe half dollar size. Hopefully it doesn't happen. If it does u may think bout lwf and stuff : ). I like the color(sorta biased). Congrats. Mike

lwf???

The car still has a year of warranty left so if it gets bad it goes to PD.

What is considered bad?
