buy it now, you never know what tommorow brings. 911s can be had at any price point and you will never regret it!

Get a 964 or 993 911. They will not depreciate too much (unless economic conditions change a lot) and will give you great joy. Keep your other cars for their utility. You only live once. If your responsibilities (kids, wife, house, etc.) don't get adversely affected by the expenditure then what are you waiting four?

If you're in the $30-$40k range, get a 1996-1998 993, and keep the Jeep. If you plan to finance, a newer 996 cab with the hard top and warranty for as long as you plan to own it might be a good option. Call Bob Brooks at Vortex in Tampa, he's a straight shooter than can help you understand the ownership experience and associated costs.

Exactly. 993 or 964.

1985-1988 911 3.2's are great runners also.

Get a Cab 911 and enjoy open top driving and live a little. You will be a better and happier person for it and those around you will be happier, too.

Forget the Cheyanne. We just don't get enough snow. Buy a beater Honda Pilot if you need cargo space and buy that 911. Time is slipping away.
Spot on! Get the 911!

What percent of your driving is by yourself? If it's over 85%, don't even think twice about not getting a 911. And there's a 911 for every budget. My old 993 had 80,000 miles on it when I traded it and it was going strong. (And still is with the current owner.) 993, 996, 997 - you can't go wrong. And if it has a GT2 or GT3 on the rear deck, you've reached Nirvana. Go for it. Every time I drive my car it puts a smile on my face. They are awesome machines, meant to be driven.
