Default CUP center radiator airduct

Hi all,

I need some help with my project. I want to re-angle my center radiator, like the CUP car, and wonder if anyone here have any pictures/information on the center airduct. I ordered mine from Gert but it's in two pieces. I've attached two pictures of the parts, which looks kind of weird. No matter how I play with them they just don't seem right.

So far I already received the following parts:

1) 48mm Aluminum spacers
2) Hex collar screws M8x65
3) CUP radiator supply hose
4) CUP radiator return hose
5) The center airduct in question!

While I'm at it are there any other parts I need for this project?

Any help would by appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Try Austin @ TRG. I know DEVEK did a few when he was there.

I believe "viperbob" should be able to help you out with this project as well.

There's a thread here where Bob outlines parts needed, and procedure to do it.

Hi ltcjmramos,

I've search the forum and have found some info. mostly to do with cutting the slits on the bumper cover. I have also found a thread with regards to the hoses, which I think I have the correct ones. However, I have not found any information on the airduct that's required and want to get some pictures and if possible more info. The pictures of the airduct I got from Gert looks a bit off and I just want some clarification. I would have thought that the airduct should be one piece not two!

Sorry, but I couldn't find the thread either. I know there's one in which Bob detailed the parts needed, and how to do it.

Default Here's the thread I have referred to in the past.

I thought about doing this mod too, but haven't....yet. The duct you have doesn't look right. Check out the thread & diagram below.

if i remember correctly bob was talking about coverting to gt3 RS not gt3 Cup specs. The RS radiator is also canted forward. Perhaps someone has a schematic of the gt3 RS front radiator setup?

Hi all,

Thanks for all your help, especially Shrews. I think the only part I need is the correct airduct and I'm in business.
