Miss the 997 GT3 RS bandwagon?
A friend has 5 RS's with less than 100 miles each (one has 15 the other 10!!)
he needs to liquidate one. black orange or silver Email me for details if interested.
All are over MSRP but about 10k under market and under what he paid.
Just trying to help

And then we wonder why the prices are jacked up.
Serves him right to have to sell it for less than he paid for it, IMHO!

Paul, are all the speculators looking to dump RS's or is this who you are referring to?

There are more 997 GT3 and RS for sale on ebay than 996 GT3. That smells like market is cooling down, and the "gotta have it" factor is gone as well.
People buying RS as collector items 30 years in advance are in a good business. But it should be considered that Porsche is building a lot of 997 RS worldwide, and it already built a lot of 996 RS worldwide, so the valuation of these newer RS won't match the one found on the original concept from 1973.

Buy an RS to drive - not collect. It is meant to be driven - HARD. Why else would you buy Porsche's most track oriented street car? I truly don't understand the people who are afraid to drive an RS the way they were meant to be. Besides, in 30 years you could restore an RS if it is truly collectible. In the meantime have fun in it.
