Any thoughts on this?
I have a Hans on order from Driving Impressions for my next trip to Lime Rock. However, at Summit, bunch of the instructors were touting the R3.
I have Euro GT3 seats/Stroth harness/Tequipment roll bar.
Thanks

I have the same setup and it is very comfortable...the instructors like the R3 because they can jump from one car to another as they are less harness/seat dependent

I'm no pro, but was talking someone at a speed shop who was wondering if the force would get transferred to softer tissue around your belly, rather than the more solid tissue of the shoulders, thus advocating HANS over R3.

I have the Hans and it is great. Very reassuring to drive with it on, and it is proven effective.
I believe the R3 is also approved by some race organizations but the abdominal compression is a concern many have.
stick with the Hans.
