I know LVDell and others are sucessfully running these. Getting a set mounted today but what a difference. The difference in tread width is tremendous.
Gotta look bad *** from the rear. Can't wait to get them on the car! If anyone wants to see them I'll be at the OVR-PCA DE @ Mid Ohio 13th - 15th.

You'll be amazed. Did you read my write-up on the tires? Be careful on tire pressures as a starting point and where you want to target.

The report on page 1 is not what you want since I got a nail and didn't get to trun them the weekend I planned. I think about post 28 is where the report is from my weekend at VIR last month.

Yes, Thanks. Been following that thread closely. If fact it was a major factor in my decision to try the tires. That nail was a bummer! Lived in a new construction neighborhood also, I can relate...
I have the Roland Kussumaul alignment, plan to start out conservatively and gradually test the limits. Check temps and pressures, etc... Friday is open track day so I should learn a lot by the end of the day. I'll put together some info and my impressions to share.

When reading the specs and then comparing these tires side by side you see a different picuture.
The stock rear tire is actualy taller then the reported spec of 25"... the Hoosier 245/40/18 was not even close to the reported diameter.
If the Nitto is the same or shorter in diameter than stock this would be great.
You want the rear diameter to be as close to 25" as possible...the car gets lazy when you start getting above that number.

Z06, I was concerned about the OD also. The specs of the PS2 295/30-18 is 25" and the NT01 is 25.35". This pic isn't the best illustration but when we set them on top of eachother the difference appears smaller than .35".

I can definitely tell you that they are NOT shorter than the PS2's. If anything they were a shave taller.
Here ya go....
Michelen PS2's currently on the car:
ID-->25.00 Width-->11.90 Rev/Mile-->832
MPSC (non-shaved):
ID-->25.20 Width-->12.10 Rev/Mile-->833
Nitto 275/35:
ID-->25.55 Width-->10.91 Rev/Mile-->813
Nitto 315/30:
ID-->25.35 Width-->12.60 Rev/Mile-->819
ID=Inflated Diameter
