Default Notchy Shift Gate?

I test drove a 996 GT3 a few days ago. Loved the car more than I imagined. My only complaint was that the shifter felt notchy. I had trouble finding the gears. I don't have this problem on the TT or GT2. Was it the individual car, or is there something different about the GT3 that causes this?

Thanks!

There was probably a SSK installed. I'll never understand why people put those in the GT3. I have one in my 996CAB and it is awesome but in the GT3 the stock shift is so smooth and perfect.

Thanks man. I'll check it out.

Where'd you get your yellow instruments?

We have had many clients that use their GT3s on the track in both DEs and club racing events. Most have had us install the SuperCup shift console and cable sets. We have plenty of experience with the motorsports parts and it is a very successful and thorough solution to that and other shifter problems in these cars.

Good luck, Jerry

Thanks Jerry.

How's good ol' Natick? Once upon a time, I lived in Natick Village. In the SF Bay area now.
