Is there a easier way to get those "anti-vibration" shims away from the pads than using a putty knife or a flat screwdriver? Getting to the rears is a blind operation.

Update from PFC on the Direct Drive Rotors.
1. They don't make a rear rotor assembly for street GT3s.
2. The hats typically get replaced after a season or two of full competition. As long as there is no direct damage, they implied that the could last "forever" on a DE car. They are not a wear item I guess. There seems to be no inspection criteria other than obvious damage...
3. The weight of the front rotor assembly is 21.1 lbs
4. Cracking is the main culprit for disk replacement. If cracks get "severe" or reach the edge, the rotor needs replacement.
Cheers.
