Ranger

I took my '99 996 C2 to the local Porsche dealer for an alignment. They said it couldn't be done because of a bent control arm. There is a local independent that is tight with an alignment specialty shop so I bought the control arm on the Internet and took the car to them instead of back to the dealer. They called me back and said that my control arm didn't appear to be bent to them, and that they'd aligned the wheels on their "laser" alignment machine just fine.

The local Porsche dealer is very supportive of Porsche events, and everyone I know speaks well of them. Therefore they go unmentioned. Maybe I just got the junior varsity that day.
