Default Outstanding GT3 For Sale - What Price?

I hope you guys can set me straight. I just purchased a membership , and about to place an ad in the classifieds. After a long month of decision making to come to one that I could live with long term, I have decided to clean out the garage. This unfortunately includes my beloved GT3. I am a little unsure of where the market is at, so I am hoping you can chime in and point me in the right direction.
It is a 2004 GT3, Red/Black 6K Miles. Miles are mostly street, with 3 DE's.
Includes: Euro GT3 seats, as well as the original sport seats.
Tequipment RollBar, and 5 point Harnesses.
Fabspeed Exhaust. Short Shift Kit.
Carbon Fiber GT3 Door Sills, Leather GT3 center console box cover.
Red painted center console.
Clearguard in all the important places.

Based on little reseach I just did, I was thinking of asking somewhere in the $81,900 - $82,900 range. Is this fair for a car like this? Too high? Too low? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also , where else besides the classifieds here would be a good place to advertise it? Thanks!

Great price. Great upgrades. Great color. Great miles. While the market price may be right where you quoted, it is worth more than that.

I would list it for $84-85k and see what happens. I think the low miles and the aftermarket equipment will help.

Looks like you and Luis live in the same house

Fantastic looking GT3 and a color that I assume is one of the more popular one's. I might agree totally with the rest on the price but I think your price is good if you are patient at about 78-82K depending on how fast you want to sell. You could have it sold within the month if you are willing to take mid to high 70's but will probably have to be patient to get in the low 80's. I hope I am wrong and would love to see you get more but based on recent sales and what the market is like right now I think my numbers are spot on.

Chris, no more DILLY DALLY.

Just do it, man!

IslandBoy, nice car. I think your asking price is reasonable. I love the alcantara seat inserts.

Good luck with the sale.

Man I want to but I really should pay off my present Porsche not to mention I have some things at work this year to take care of before I go and add to the fleet. Too bad, it's exactly how I'd like one.

Better hurry and sell it. The last couple on Fleabay I have watched haven't even broke 70K for bids, which means next year we'll be seeing bids not breaking 60K!

Beautiful example... your range is entirely fair, if not low.

Red color is either you like it or hate it, so the price you are asking is a crap-shoot.

This topic comes up a lot. If you already own a 996 GT3 you want the value to stay up and if you are shopping for one you want a deal.

Ask for more like $85,000. Spring fever will bring out more buyers soon and be patient, high end cars can take months to sell. The GT3 Euro seats are very popular and if you can explain more in your ad about the driver education events that will help. Some people make up crap about a car being abused on the track when they have no facts to back that. We all know one can damage a good car on the street.

While a 997 GT3 is competition the price difference is considerable.

Islandboy, I am wondering if you tried selling this car last year or if you are a dealer? Reason I ask is when I was looking a year ago for my GT3, I was sent a picture of a red GT3 in front of that identical house with a red gt3 that had the same interior scheme. Good luck on your sell.

That's probably what it looked like last year. One pic has the plastic covering the floor mat and stock seats and on has the new sport seats. I guess a before and after montage.

I'd say no more that 80k.
