Default front and rear bumper "crash bar" on ROW gt3 and gt3RS....

.... does anyone know if the aluminum frame behind the bumper cover is on the ROW gt3 and gt3RS? i can imagine that they are omitted from the RS for weight savings.

is this hunk of aluminum just for DOT?

According to PET they are. Don't know about Cup.

Any DOT car will have them. I believe TRG makes a lightweight tubular set.

thx a lot for that article. this 5mph structure is really for insurance/repair issues rather than safety issues. the chart on page 6-2 explains that no "safety items" can be damaged at a 2.5mph collision.
