Brake Pad Rubbing Noise
Quick dumb question. I'm not very mechanically inclined, but I changed out the OEM pads today to RS19's and bled all around. The front right side rubs. I bedded them in and I still get the rubbing.
1. Is this normal?
2. If so, how long until the rubbing subsides?

depending on how worn your rotors are you will get noise, *why the delaer alwasy changes pads with rotors" the rotor wears down and your left with a lip. the new pads rub on the lip and make noise

Did you have trouble placing the pads into the calipers? It sounds like your rotors are not very worn, and now you have taken a set of brand new, THICK endurance pads and tried to cram them in there.
Try removing the anti-squeal shims... aka the "spiders". That should give you a little extra breathing room at the expense of some squeal noise.
Also, Oak's Q is important. Are the pads flush with the rotor surface? Or, do the edges need to be beveled down to fit flush against the rotor surface?

No I didn't have trouble placing the pads in the calipers, but I didn't bevel them. I'll give that a try when I take them out. Weird how it's just the right front side.

It should be the same for both front brakes. You describe it rubbing; is this a sound it makes over the entire rotation or does it just rub in one area? Does the right disk get noticeably under little brake use than the left one? Did you clean out the cross drilled holes? Do you have any pad material build up on the disk?
