Default GT2 / GT3 six point Harness

Anyone with a spare red Schroth they might like to sell that I can fit to the passenger side of my GT2?

No used ones. Also, you might want to be specific as to sizes of shoulder and lap, also 6pt or not. There are many combos. Here is a black 3" that I just took a pic of yesterday for a customer.

Good luck.

Thanks for the pointer Viperbob

Looking for a 6 point Schroth in red to match the standard fit in a 2002 GT2 clubsport on the driver's side, 3 inch shoulder and 2 inch lap belts.

Prefer rotary fastener rather than the button type.

So, used is ok for your passenger? Unable to verify the past of the belt is not something I would EVER do when installing belts in the car. In both my track cars, the passenger side (used very infrequently, but still used) got BRAND NEW belt systems. Sure, the Schroth sets are pricey but betls are not something I would cut a corner on.

Passenger would be me when my son drives and vice versa.

Think you are right about condition/history LVDell. Have already missed out once on an unused harness for sale, just wondered if there was another out there before I dig deep for a new one.

You ain't kidding about having to dig deep! Especially if you want the best like Schroth. I just put in a brand new set about a month ago in my GT3 and that was a bill I did NOT enjoy paying

Not that much more than marginal belts. Plus a 5 year FIA cert. Most belts are 2 years. Good mechanics for adjusting, good looks, great safety and long life. Come on Dell.....

Sorry Bob, you got me. I acutally LOVE my Schroth belts. Totally blow everything else away that I have tried. I never thought I would say this....but they are comfortable! Money well spent.

Hi Dell, did you post any pics of your harness set up? I just had the schroth hybrid hans 6 pt. put in and attached to my TechQ rollbar. However the way the belts are connected looks different from the way that the schroth DVD shows they should be. I used Eurosport (the best track focused shop around) so I am a little embarressed to bring it up but would love to see your setup.

TIA

David

David - Why don't you post a pic of the way they set it up?

Now that I think about it, I haven't posted any post track goodies install pics. As Bob suggested, post up a pic of yours and we could tell you what the problem is.

This is the main reason I like to do most everything I can on my own. THat way I know it is done right. I leave the stuff I can't do to the professionals.

I'll take a pic here shortly and post up.

Cheers
