Default After Market exhaust; opinions

I'm thinking about putting an after market exhaust on my gt3. At this point either the Europipe or the complete Fabspeed unit. I'm interested in hearing the good and bad stuff on both. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

I am happy with the Fabspeed mufflers, they reduced the weight by about 24lbs. There is no real hp to be had with exhaust...maybe 5-6 HP each for the mufflers and the sport cats. total 10-15 HP. I have not heard of any improvement with the headers. Not worth it.

I am not sure what you mean by "complete Fabspeed unit." I have a Fabspeed exhaust (mufflers only) and love it. It does occassionally resonate, but only when accelerating lightly at lower rpms. Once you get up to cruise it completely quiets down.

I have the Fabspeed headers to tips. Do not know if the headers provide performance improvement. I was rear ended and had to replace the entire system. Porsche ex manifolds were backordered 6 weeks so GEICO approved the extra cost. The headers sure look good. The 100 cell cats work great no CEL.

It would be curious to see what your car makes to the wheels, rwhp.
A friend had the 100 cell cats and he had the light on, I guess you got lucky.

Vishnu Tuning is here in the SF Bay Area. I've spoken with Shiv (the owner), and he predicts he can get another 20 hp with the Exede system he sells, out of Australia.

Do yourself a favor and get some input from someone that has installed the PSI headers and exhaust.

The best sounding of all the aftermarket exhaust systems (IMO) and an additional 45HP.

I have it on my GT3 and those that have heard it at the track tend to agree.

I do not represent PSI, I am only a customer but you may wish to look into it.

Default PSI

I also have PSI headers and exhaust system with 100 cell cats. Sound is amazing. I got 385 RWHP after installation. I also get CEL's occasionally. If it weren't for those, I'd say the system was about perfect for my needs.

Happy Holidays everyone!

I thought the PSI exhaust was nothing but relabeled Supersprint parts!?

Z06: No, I will get the name. This comes out of Europe.
Regarding the exhaust, I do not have a seat of the pants measure. It sounds better but do not know if it did anything for performance

385 rwhp is a great result... was that corrected?

It would be interesting to see what yours does to the wheels.

I have the fabspeed mufflers and will be installing a set of 100 cell cats that a good friend gave me then I will check the rwhp......

my friends GT3 was destroyed and not by him, careful who you lend your car out to.
