Default Lap times at the Nurburgring

I put together some lap times at the Nurburgring. Just wanted to see where the 997 GT3 RS compares. These are official Porsche times. Any further input is appreciated, but please make it “true“ times. I’m also interested in other marques.

8.27 996 Mk II 17” wheels
8.21 997 Carrera 18” wheels
8.17 997 Carrera S 19” wheels
7.59 997 Carrera S 19” wheels Sport Chrono, sport suspension
7.49 996 GT3 RS
7.47 996 GT2 Mk I Rohrl, “…not really trying.”
7.45 997 GT3
7.45 997 Turbo w/o Cup tyres
7.43 TechArt 996 Turbo
7.42 997 GT3 RS
7.42 997 Turbo with Cup tyres
7.32 Carrera GT
6.25 956 S. Bellof 1983 Nurburgring 1000

I thought the 996 GT3 RS posted 7.43 in sport auto (maybe with Walter driving) and had a less substantiated time of 7.40 on MPSCs.

edit found the attribution on the net :

7:43 --- 160.173 km/h -- Porsche 996 GT3 RS, factory test driver Walter Roehrl (MOTOR magazine)

Given all the variables, who can take any of those times seriously?

Alledgedly his laps are +-1 sec when its a good clean one, but I agree with your point. I've passengered around in a GT3 RS going round in what must have been around 8 mins or so and frankly that was enough to ruin my underwear!

DanH,
The lower time is with non-standard tyres. It was a valid time I did not include. Walter is at the Nurburgring almost weekly with some new Porsche product, so for me to include all his times would cloud the equation. Thank you for the input. I only wish us yanks could get a 996 GT3 RS, what I considder to be the purest 996 and the last non PSM equipted Porsche sport model.
