Yo cosmos...

I think it looks more pronounced because (a) of the film still on the roof and on the sunroof itself (look carefully), (b) because it's white, and (c) it has no business being there.

Nevertheless, I think I shall purchase one. If only you had one I could give you $20k over for...

Now back to the car. It looks great, but WOW the sunroof looks more pronounced on the GT3 then on the other 997 cars. Anyone know why?

1) everyone is obsessing over it.
2) camera angle of a white car with BLACK insulation.

Thanks for the pics.

Sound Package Plus...please tell me that has nothing to do with the stereo.

Heated seats, WTF?!

The front view looks odd with the big unobstructed radiator opening.

Also, how come no one makes a Gurney Flap (I think that's what that black strip is called) for our cars? We have the same 2 plane wing design and it should offer the same benefits to the 996 GT3 and it would be easy to glue on.

Nice shots, DMac.

Holy bumperettes. Where's a screwdriver when you need one to pry those suckers off?

The wheels are sweet and FINALLY, some real DOT-R rubber!

Heated seats rock for keeping your **** toasty for those late December 160 mph sprints up PCH1 with the windows down and the sunroof open.

You can get a Gurney flap from alomost any competent shop.

Its just a strip, can be plastic or metal.

Just find out what the 997 GT3 PN is and order one up. I bet it fits just fine.

Great shots. Much appreciated. I have a Feb build and will also go with white. Anyone interested in where P got the idea for the skirt vents? Toyota Celica 2000 GT.

I can't be the first guy to think of this...that would be a shock.

Just surprised that I haven't seen anyone do it if there's really some advantage associated with it. Seems simple & cheap enough to do.

i love it, until i saw the hole up on top.
too rich for my taste.
i would take one with no hole and zero option. no need for neon, i am blind at night, no matter how much light i get ;-)

Car looks great. It is interesting that it gets marginally less fuel mileage than the new turbo, which is rated at 25/18.

Too soon, unfortunately...gotta get married, get a new house, and find time to do a nice, long European vacation for factory delivery first...don't see it happening until 2008. That's when the lease is up on the 997 anyway.
