Maybe you specified the phone option or GPS so in that case you must have the Sport Chrono as well.

Is it in '07 that it's required on all cars?

I think that regulation kicks in sometime soon.

Now the Million $$$$ question is:

Since we are all getting the sunroof...who's going to be so Idealistic that they won't use it (while not on the track)

Your right...thanks, I reversed what I was trying to say;

getting the basic chrono pkg because i think its a simple way to get aprox lap times. not interested in p dvd screen and since track driving is not racing , i have no need for any out of car telemetry systems either.

as for sunroof, i plan on keeping it open more often than not. my favorite unavailable delete option would be the a/c which i will rarely if ever use.

Ok I am going to go off topic for a moment and then real my self back in. I was at the dealer today and saw a used 997. The car was in good shape but for the rear center console around the brake handle area. The paint seemed to be very badly scratched, removed, and ugly! I ordered the full leather and am now thinking about the rear console in leather (1290.00) but that would put me over me self installed budget. So now to real back in! I ordered the sport chrono, I know I know it has been beaten to death so let me kick the horse, besides the stop watch and the link to the computer what else does it do.? If I eliminate the chrono I could put the leather counsel in. I will make my own decision but I could use some input. Buy the way I am a complete techno head and like gadgets…
