Default Dealer Allocations

Interested to know where various dealers stand on GT3 allocations. I stopped by my dealer today (large Boston area dealer) and he has no October or November allocations. He showed me the fax from Porsche. He also said a number of other local dealers got zippo for Oct/Nov. Next shot is Dec/Jan slot.

Where does your dealer stand?

one, there's no LARGE dealers in boston. the so called LARGE dealers are brumos in FL, beverly hills in CA and maybe champion as well.

most of the GT3 coming in the next 6-10 months all have deposit on there. bug your dealer, have them let you konw of someone drops off the list, else look in other states.

Mooty,

You should start a dealer yourself. With the guys on the baord and how many P cars you have bought I bet you could get as many GT3 allocations you want.

Mooty:

I'm number 1 on my dealer's list and have been for months. The issue is Porsche isn't giving New England dealers cars at the moment. I suspect the rep is playing games with the dealers in the area. Hence my question trying to get a sense of what other dealers are saying.

that's my point. each dealer is allocated a certain number of RS, depending on how many cars they have sold historically. that's why larger delaers get more. my local dealer gets 6, and that's it (so i was told).

Check with Beechmont Porsche in Cincinnati and ask for Bruce Harnish, 513-388-3700. I think one of the guys close to the top of the list may be backing out. Bruce is a good guy to deal with.
