Are you talking about the 8-10Sep VIR weekend??? Registration opens tomorrow. Also, Randy should be there as well with his GT3 (forgot his user ID but he is out in Ashville). I'm hoping to have a ride by then, if not, it will just be my lowly 996C2

Potomac Regionis sponsoring it and it is PORSCHE only. You need to go to their website and register. Good news is they only accept CC payment for DE now so you can register from the desert. http://pcapotomac.us/ The DE registration doesn't open till tomorrow but you can login and create a profile and setup your CC info which has to be done ahead of time anyway.
What event were you talking about???

....and the metal integrity in the wheel will be compromised from the temperature required to powdecoat, hence the reason to go painted if for the track. Last thing you want is a wheel failure.

I amsure you could email PCA customer service to get your number ASAP via email so you can register. Or, we can just find some back roads out here when you get back and let off some steam and then follow that up with a few cold ones

Three Wheelin'
I had a set of 04 GT2 wheels refinished in powder coat, the refinisher clearly stated that he could tell by the type of finish when blasting the old finish off. He mentioned that there is no one makes a wet spray on type of paint that is that hard to blast off. I believe him, he has almost 40yrs in the refinishing biz.
